Trade all my bootlegs for the fan club one in Therapy? Buy, Sell & Trade
Title: Trade all my bootlegs for the fan club one
Okay, here’s the trade,
I gave this a lot of thinking (actually I didn’t cause I HATE BOOTLEGS), 5 or 6 years I spend a lot of money on ‘em I simply don’t like bootlegs anymore (there’s of course an exception that if it inlcudes unreleased tracks…like Kiss Me On The Ghost Train).
In exchange for the 1996 Official Fan Club Live CD I’ll give you No Love Lost, Who Did This?, Fistful Of Power, Absolutely Barking, Live In England 94 (with only half of the booklet) and the Christmas 7’ (obviously the bootleg version). I’ll even throw in a CD-R of their heroic 1998 performance at the Lowlands festival, which in all fairness is pretty good.
I used to have more bootlegs, but over the years I used ‘em for trading so I could get all the official stuff.
Cheers,
T.W.
P.S. Oh yeah, Iris, I’ve seen T? live 25 times. The first time in Nijmegen and the last one for now also in Nijmegen.

Re: T?mix in General Therapy? Topics
I too recently made yet another Therapy? compilation tape and that’s the only reason I’m responding here. Okay, it’s 90 minutes long, it’s in chronological order,
Meat Abstract/Prison Breaker/Teethgrinder/Nausea/Disgracelands/ Hypermania/Totally Random Man (Live At The BBC)/Turn/Opal Mantra/ Innocent X (Live)/Pantapon Rose/Stop It You’re Killing Me/Femtex/Tatty Seaside Town/Evil Elvis/Stories/Me Vs You/Where Eagles Dare/Lonely, Cryin’ Only/Stay Happy/Tightrope Walker/Skyward (New recording)/Little Tongues First/Wall Of Mouths/He’s Not That Kind Of Girl/God Kicks/Bad Karma Follows You Around/Knives.
You’ll probably understand that Knives is on there only because I had two minutes left. Now I would probably replace Bad Karma with Fat Camp and Bloody Blue instead of Knives. Also I would take off the two covers, Tatty Seaside Town and Where Eagles Dare and replace them with Trigger Inside and Auto Surgery. Notice also I’ve included all three tracks that were on the pre-Suicide Pact promo.
Cheers,
T.Walker

Re: femtex ? in General Therapy? Topics
A screamager is a woman who screams while faking an orgasm. It’s got nothing to do with the combination of the words ‘scream’ and ‘teenager’, I believe.

Re: Mondo Paddy in General Therapy? Topics
The song is an early (acoustic) version of ‘Bowels Of Love’

Re: What Song(s) should’ve been on 10 Year Plan in General Therapy? Topics
Innocent X! TURN! Disgracelands! Opal Mantra! Lonely, Cryin’ Only! Isolation! Little Tongues First! Stay Happy!
Not to mention Tightrope Walker, of course. However, I’m 100% behind the actual track-listing. It’s the perfect album for a beginner
(and they won’t like Meat Abstract!). Disc 2 is very very dubious. Only 6 tracks of which only the Bloody Blue demo is actually rare.
Why put Where Eagles Dare on it and not Invisible Sun, Come & Die, Iron Man and Vicar In A Tutu. Why Summer Of Hate and Evil Elvis and no other b-sides, esp.
the self-penned Pantapon Rose and Suing God (and what about Our Love Must Die). So the Isolation single was only released in Germany? I think more fans
own a copy of that one compared to Bad Mother and the Stories re-release, right? The original of Isolation isn’t even included on disc 1. And I forgot to mention the remix of Innocent X which was released as a split-single with Orbital
(don’t worry, it sucks, cause they took out the 2nd verse). I can go on and on about this subject and I’ll probably do that soon,
Cheers,
T.W.

Re: Doornroosje was de best of 6!!! in Therapy? Live
No fucking way!
1 Nijmegen
2 Groningen
3 Amsterdam
4 Rotterdam
5 Utrecht
6 Tilburg
Tilburg was bad. (A stripped down version of) Skyward couldn’t save that. Groningen is placed 2nd cause they played 20 songs including This One’s For You and there were a lot of crowdsurfers (I would have liked to have the Groningen audience in Nijmegen). Once again, I really don’t have one good feeling about the Tilburg show, the audience was on valium, the stage was too big, the band was too normal and they didn’t play Knives, Teethgrinder, Fat Camp and Stop It You’re Killing Me. Not to mention Joey being the only new song thrown in. Oh yeah, let’s not forget the encore in Nijmegen. Where Eagles Dare (finally live in the Benelux) and the first time they played a cover called either Denim Devil or Denim Denom which is going to appear on a soon to be released tribute album to the band in question (have no idea which band). And finally we got the long, very long version of Potato Junkie including band introductions (MC Toasty Toast behind the drums and on guitar, electric cello and on every drug you can possibly imagine ever taken…blah blah blah) and of course I Wanna Be Your Dog. Oh yeah they really played good as well in Nijmegen. They played very very good for their standards, haha. DOES ANYONE HAS A RECORDING OF THE DOORNROOSJE SHOW??? To make a long story short: it was kinda funny!
Cheers,

Re: Meat Abstract?? Silly comment mr X! in Therapy? Live
Funny thing that you said that you liked my criticism in the old days and now the first one ‘to be critisized’ is you. Don’t mean it that way, y’know that?

Meat Abstract?? Silly comment mr X! in Therapy? Live
Title: Meat Abstract?? Silly comment mr X!
‘I don’t think they’ll ever play Meat Abstract again since the vocals were by Fyfe.’ That’s a pretty silly thing to say, right? What about Teethgrinder, man??? That one was always sung by Fyfe in the old days, compared to Meat Abstract which was sometimes sung by Andy even with Fyfe still in the band. Same goes for Disgracelands, Skyward and…Totally Random Man. So when you say they’ll never play Meat Abstract again because of that, they’ll also never gonna play your favorite song again, my friend!!

Title: Surf’s Up
In Amsterdam and Rotterdam they opened with Fat Camp, in Utrecht with Sreamager (have they EVER opened with Screamager before???, not to my knowledge), in Groningen they opened a bit Queen-ish, though (not meant as an insult however). Starting with Little Tongues First you heard the guitar intro first on tape while the band walked on stage and after a ‘couple of intro’s’ they actually started playing themselves (which made my trip to Groningen worthwile). One more tip to everyone desperate for a set-list at the end of the show (it’s just a piece of paper!!! I’m kidding I also long for them when I can’t sleep (???), but here’s my tip: DON’T FUCKIN’ DO IT! Why??? Last March at their gig in Luxembourg I got hold of the setlist and guess what? I found out they first wanted to play SKYWARD AND PUNISHMENT KISS (!!!) and another one as their last three songs, but no they suddenly didn’t feel like it anymore and played DIANE instead (out of all songs…). They replaced those gems with one, ONE, song. So by getting hold of the set-list you actually KNOW what you’ve missed! Which brings me to the next anecdote, one of the most amazing moments in ‘my T?-career’, y’know whadd’I mean, right?, was the fact they opened their 1996 show at the Pinkpop festival with Punishment Kiss. Broadcasted on TV and radio in The Netherlands and Belgium, about 60,000 people in attendance, right after the huge Infernal Love tour, and they open with the B-SIDE of their very first single!!! Fucking amazing!!! Cheers again, bye for now,

Cheers to Unbeliever and Innocent X! in New Members (Introduce Yourself)
Title: Cheers to Unbeliever and Innocent X!
First I’d like to say hello to my old ‘friend’ X and new ‘friend’ Unbeliever. Used to write a lot of shit on the messageboard at the official site. X knows about this, right? After that board shut down I always refused to write on a new one, but never stopped reading, of course. But these days, with our favorite Irish noisenicks on tour in The Netherlands (6 TIMES! Still can’t believe it, and yes X, I actually do feel sorry for my Belgian friends) I could’t resist anymore (this sounds way too serious, by the way) and I wanna put my shit down again.
Talking about this tour; fucking amazing! Been to all 4 shows and guess what? Utrecht: 17 songs, Amsterdam: 18 songs, Rotterdam: 19 songs and finally Groningen: (there ya go, Ronald…) 20! So they premiered Wicked Man in Amsterdam, played it in Rotterdam the next day, but not at the other two. They did play Joey four times though (in Groningen it actually replaced Wicked Man in the encore). In Groningen they premiered the song Pretender talked about and it’s called ‘This One’s For You’ and it’s probably (actually there’s no doubt about it) the most melodic happy songs they’ve played in years (lots of ooooh-ooooooh-ooooooh-this one’s for you in the lyrics, get it?) I hate to compare a song to another song but (‘cause when you hear it for the 1st time it never sounds like that! Take Andy’s way of describing Bad Karma and Fat Camp on the official site for instance), but ‘This One’s For You’ kinda reminds me of ‘Lonely, Cryin’ Only.’ (Nobody’s gonna agree with me, it it noisier though). Enough about that song. The gig in Groningen without a doubt the best one so far (and not only talking about the show itself, but everything surrounding it, like travelling to the north of The Netherlands just to see some lousy band play, drink in fully crowded bars afterwards because they are open till morning in Groningen (It was TUESDAY, for God’s sake!). With saying I prefer this show to the other comes as a huge surprise for everyone who knows me, cause I’m from Amsterdam and ‘LOVE’ the Melkweg (Milky Way), the venue they played Thursday (and til now the only time they played Bad Mother). Enough for now, but I’ll probably post messages very regularly from now on (depending of course on my laziness and responds to this message), cheers,
Tightrope Skywalker
