Re: NME review of Scopophobia in General Therapy? Topics

Here’s the other one.

After more than 13 years volume history was it highest time: On their DVD “Scopophobia” compile THERAPY? Music video, a current Live concert and much bonus material to an affectionate visual Kleinod. Whether “Teethgrinder”, “Screamager”, “Nowhere” or “DIANE”: “Scopophobia” is bepackt with all relevant THERAPY? tie-clips. In addition a Live concert comes from the Belfaster “Mandela resounds” from 6 June to this yearly. On set cunning Songs stand like “Hey Satan You skirt”, “Church OF Noise” or “trigger Inside”. Particularly interesting: The Q&A session with the individual volume members. Here Andy Cairn and Konsorten expenditure-in demand for line and thread over their musical influences or its opinion over the other volume members. Additionally to see gibt’s on “Scopophobia” still each quantity baking steam turbine and gas turbine system material. Completely particularly one made oneself for much trouble with navigation. Each tie-clip is individually selectable, the menu guidance is simple, those surface responding arranged. And even if THERAPY? everyone thing are, must one envyless admit: So soll’s its! Evaluation: 5 of 6 Lumpis

Re: NME review of Scopophobia in General Therapy? Topics

Translated with babelfish..gives a good idea.

“Fuck politics, let’s Rock” is to be read on the back of the packing of “Scopophobia”. A request, those contents of Therapy?s more extensively first DVD quite well summary that principal item forms the Mitschnitt of a concert, which in June 2003 in the Belfaster Mandela resound took place. It was a completely special appearance, the tendency marvelously, means singers and guitarist Andy Cairns in an interview. With which it has certainly quite, because already with the Opener “Hey Satan You skirt” happens it in the first rows violently: The predominantly recent public can be carried over the heads, vibrates the maehnen and does not frighten also back to land roughly in the ditch before the stage. Already after few minutes the sweat from the cover seems to drip to. A heated atmosphere, which increases in the further process merciless. A majority of the pieces originates from the albums “High Anxiety” (2003) and Therapy?s of most well-known disk “Troublegum” (1994). Even if they are meanwhile nine years old, they rocken still properly. two excerpts from their further plates round the review off. From the row only the Coverversion of a song of Huesker Due falls, with which the last section of the concert begins; that disturbingly calm cello of secondary guitarist Martin McCarrick provides in “DIANE” for a small Verschnaufpause, before it continues with “Rust” (“I don’t know what I want, but I want it now, before I turn into dust”) krachig. Their early “Teethgrinder” provides for the next to last high point, before “Screamager” demands the last body fluids from volume and spectators. The locking Feedbackorgie is guessed/advised something for the living room armchair to for a long time, but the party does not seem to have been still for a long time to end, because the Mitschnitt jumps to the morning after, when the daylight arouses the volume members at unfavorable places. Thus Cairns is on a becoming green tire because of the edge of a road, while Mc Carrick it made itself cosy in an unappetizing pool beside the Klo. If the successful direction with many camera focusing provides for alternation with the concert, the video collection a whole piece is more monotonously guessed/advised. Nine of the eleven tie-clips originate from the time 1996 ago, and it does not pass too much. Usually those is to be seen volume with their instruments; in the center is located front man Cairns, whose Gesichtsbehaarung takes new forms again and again. The exception forms “DIANE” with a aufwaendigen production, which contains a pretty pregnant woman woman with rabenschwarzen long hair, a morbide atmosphere and much water. In the end Cairns lies naked in its arms, in a position, which seems shared me long lot Pietà. There one nevertheless rather looks at oneself “If It Kills ME”, where racing clouds support the verse “Tonight I’m in such a way sky high” figurativy. That is not yet everything. Considerable colleagues, under it Henry roll in, announce praise in the illustrated Booklet, in addition there is an interview with questions in terms of catchwords and short answers, with which the members in a chief armchair alternate. “Hidden feature” is to give it also, however so well hidden that the editor could not find her. For each reference it is grateful. “Let’s Rock” had Therapy? demanded, and exactly they offer that on these DVD: Two and a half successful hours without Schnickschnack.

Townsend was cought once and held his hands up to the offence even though it was for so called research.
This is the second time for Jacko, the first time was a well documented pay off of millions of dollars.

By the way; hats off to all those 300,000 (read that very carefully ianrauk!) protesters in London yesterday! You were fucking great!

Re: Arrest Warrant Issued for Michael Jackson in Chit-Chat

Sept 11
Kenya attack
Saudi Arabia attack
Bali attack
Anthrax Attacks
Morocco attack
Kuwait Attack
Turkey Attack
Frenck Tanker attack
North Africans in London planning a Ricin attack
and on and on and on and on
Fanatical Muslim attack westerners and muslims alike with their hatred of the west and democracy of which people like yourself use to support these terrorists.
The list goes on and it will not stop until these people are wipped off the face of the earth. The UK is on a high state of terrorist alert even now, and by God I really hope that these people are stopped before they action something really horrendous, and I really do think it is going to happen. Do you think these fanatics care who they kill? We know they don’t. They must be laughing at all these apologists marching against Bush, Blair & the US.(70,000 in London, nowhere near 200,000 that someone on here claimed). Do you think they care about you and the rest of these protesters, they would kill you within the blink of an eye.
The terrorists believe fighting fire with fire, and so should we, if we do not pre-empt these people and attacks then we are opening ourselves to even more terrorist acts. Or is that what you want? I find it so funny that you are protesting for and supporting a regime and form of religion that openly denounces democracy.
It’s not the Americans and British that are killing thousands of innocent people with terrorism, it’s fanatical muslims, resorting to killing their own people with bombs, torture, poison gas, death squads and ruling with a dictatorship.

Lefties & commies, enjoy thier own freedom of speech yet when someone has an opposing view they are vilified as fascists. In my eyes that i s a form of censorship. The USSR & China & yourselves are prime exapmles.

The beef I have at the moment that all this anti war stance has now turned into an anti american rant.
Burning the US flag, for fucks sack if the yanks hadnt intervened in WWII we would probrably not be alive today for people to do such a thing.

The Americans supplied these countries the weapons now they are dealing with it.

Re: The “New” Tory party… in Chit-Chat

If you had a friend or family member murdered will you feel the same then? And yes I would call you meek..as I said in a previous mail, the lefty namby pambys champagne socialists are taking over. It’s like the dark days of the 70’s all over again. You may be too young to remember what happened last time this government was in power bringing the country to a complete halt.

I understand your argumant and I hate child-killers as much as you do. But, do you know how many people wrongfully got the death penalty? (see my argument that it’s impossible to be 100% sure)It’s irreversible, you know and it doesn’t solve any problems. Take a look at the US; the number of killings has increased. Apparently the death penalty doesn’t scare people off: on the contrary!

You may call me meek, but I’m convinced the death penalty is wong. There is indeed ‘only one solution’: lock them away forgood. I’m willing to pay for that, ianrauk. Money should never be an argument to kill people in stead of taking the burden to feed and house them. It simply is one of the costs of living in a democracy.
