Re: This new T? album… in General Therapy? Topics
Looks like I may miss this tour as my own little tyke is due in September. Of course, I will be training her in the ways of T?.

Well yeah, but ya know, you wouldn’t let a DRUMMER anywhere near all that expensive gear now, would ya?!
Vinnie Paul always did a fine production job!

^Don’t know the technical reason for it, but what loco says makes sense. Indivudually I love all the songs on OCFA , but listening to the album as a whole the songs seem to blur into one and my attention drifts.
It’s true that Troublegum is fantastic sounding record.

Re: new stuff (Clowns Galore) in General Therapy? Topics
April Fool’s or not, I don’t see any reason why T? shouldn’t produce their own album. They have so much experience at this stage that as long as they have a good engineer I’m confident they’d produce a fine album.

Can’t believe how much I enjoyed that given it’s just a rough jam recorded on a single mic.
I’m excited, but that’s probably because my jeans are too tight!

This thread deserves more replies!!!
Fair play to you. Not only did you get the song played, but a good mention for the band.
Top stuff!

I see Andy’s officially confirmed the new label as Demolition, and more importantly, no spandex!!

Re: Exclusive Therapy? webgig now available in General Therapy? Topics
Got home from work yesterday suffering from a hefty dose of the ‘Monday Blues’ only to find an envelope sent from the UK in my postbox. It was curiously flat, which made me wonder if play.com were having cutbacks and sending only the dvd, but not the case, I ordered to make the package lighter, but no, to my surprise, my webgig cover had arrived, signed and all. Effing chuffed I was. Also glad to see Rob Newman has forged a career as a sound engineer, he was one of my favourite comediens in the ’90s (chortle chortle). Anyway, thanks lads (and to RenĂ© who assured me it would arrive), it looks great.

Re: New Label? in General Therapy? Topics
Roadrunner??
SPV???
A Universal subsidary???
Ooh, the speculation. While the message from T? didn’t give anything away, the tone of the post was optimistic. Hope the deal does the lads justice. The Spitfire albums got decent distribution throughout Europe, but not further afield, hopefully that’s something that’s part of the new deal.
New album next year, Hurrah!!!

Re: Ballyclare high school pupil suspended for long hair in General Therapy? Topics
Complete nonsence. I went through the same thing because of long hair when I was in school. It’s schools having rules for the sake of having rules, not rules that serve a purpose.

Shouldn’t this thread be called ‘The least bestest track’?

Re: Please help me choose what Therapy album I should get next? in General Therapy? Topics
I’d recommend Infernal Love, the album they released after Troublegum. Has good production value and great songs. Not as poppy as Troublegum, has more of a Nick Cave vibe. Bottom line, great album, great songs!

Re: The Q+A replies…? in General Therapy? Topics
Oops!! I only posted the ‘Where is Fyfe?’ question as a joke as it’s one of the most repeated questions that the band must be sick off (along with ‘When’s the next album out?’ and ‘When are you playing my town?’). Damn you internet for not conveying sarcasm!!! Still, fair play to them for offering an answer.
MIKEHELL, if you read this, I apologise.

Have now listened to it, and love it!! A really good compilation. Hope the lads make a few quid out of it, and not just the record company.

Still can’t get it in Spain, however, as my better half is cool as fuck, she bought it for me when she was visiting a friend in merry old Blighty this weekend. Look forward to listening to it later today.

It’s sold out on play.com, which may mean they only had 5 copies in the first place, or that it’s selling well!

Re: Therapy? Q&A August 2007 in General Therapy? Topics
You’ve been around for a while (and thank you for that), but this stage of your career, what’s Therapy?’s ten year plan?
And Neil, if Andy and Michael ever decided to call it a day, would ever consider doing a ‘Thin Lizzy’ and start touring under the name of Therapy? with Martin and Graham?

Yep, I got the same message on Play about it only being shipped to the UK. Curious.
I’ll check out my local shop on Monday as they have it listed on their webpage already.

Will there ever a ‘Troublegum’ edition of Eagle’s classic album DVD series?

Re: Therapy? Q&A August 2007 in General Therapy? Topics
I’ve some great questions, real gems, and original too:
Where’s Fyfe?
When’s the next album coming out?
When are they playing Dublin again? and
Why do they have a questionmark in their name?
