Re: Will There Be A Single? (Rain Hits Concrete chat) in General Therapy? Topics

I’ll most likely try and download it on a friends PC. It’ll be the first time I’ve paid for a download too. Won’t have a clue what i’m doing though. As you’ve rightly pointed out, 3 new songs make it worth while.

I suppose the positive side of it is, it’s available in all territories, so our American friends who’ve been starved of T? albums/tours will have the exact same access. Hopefully sales will be substantial enough that it helps with getting distribution of the album over in the States.

:(

Non album tracks I can’t get my hands on. I’m not surprised this is the route they’ve gone down, but I am disappointed.

Re: Therapy? in Metal Hammer in General Therapy? Topics

(just realise that there’s another spanish womble :D or someone that at least lives in my country, feel a little less alone now :P)

Soy Irlandes, de Dublín, pero llevo casi 5 años aqui. Me encanta España, aunque no he podido ver Therapy? en directo aqui. Espero k vengan durante la proxima gira. Normalmente vuelvo a Dublín para sus conciertos.

the UK cd had the remix, Suing God and CON video.

I think it was only the European cd that had 60 Watt Bulb instead of the CON video.

Ah, so that’s why my copy didn’t have the CON video. I’ll have to pick it up at a cd fair or something though as I’ve still to see the video.

Cheers. It comes out about 2 weeks/a month later in Spain, so it’s useful having that info.

Re: Will There Be A Single? (Rain Hits Concrete chat) in General Therapy? Topics

A single would be excellent. I’m not a big fan of downloading. It’s comparable to taping songs of the radio. No artwork, no disc with the Therapy? logo. I like my T? collection, and want to add to it.

Still might try and get it to have the ‘RYM’ video on Dvd.

Re: Sprung in General Therapy? Topics

Yep, I like it a lot. Sounds like ‘Nurse’ era T? if ‘Nurse? had had a more muscular production. The appetite has been whetted.

Re: Which Therapy? Album Should I Get Next? in General Therapy? Topics

Too true!! ‘Troublegum’ never gets stale or sounds dated. My personal favourite is ‘Infernal Love’, but if you but ‘Semi-Detatched’ next you’ll be buying a very good album. ‘Church of Noise’ and ‘Lonely, Crying, Only’ are actually my least favourite tracks on the album, that’s how good it is.

€4.99/2.99GBP for High Anxiety. I’m nearly tempted to buy it again just to say I got such a good bargain.

Re: One Cure Cover in General Therapy? Topics

I voted ‘Hate it’ as it was the closest option there was to ‘dislike it’ that there was. Hate is such a strong word, y’know, can’t we all just get along? :D

I don’t like it. Looks like a rush job. The music will rock though!!

Re: Do You Owe Therapy? A Thank You? in General Therapy? Topics

I do. I moved to Spain a few years back and it was really tough. Couldn’t speak the lingo, get a job etc… And to top it all a family member past away shortly after the move. Now, I wasn’t suicidal or madly depressed, but when things go wrong and you’re away from home the effect seems to be multiplied. It was around the same time I started getting back into T?. An hour or so with Troublegum or Pleasure Death would help me forget my woes and put a bit of pep back in my step. I listened to other bands too, but it was T?’s music that made it’s way into the cd player more than other bands.

Re: Favourite Therapy? Song to Wank Off To in General Therapy? Topics

If I had to wank to a T? song it’d probably be the end sample to Potato Junkie. However, as much as I love T?, they’re don’t give me the horn. Sorry lads!

Re: The new album in General Therapy? Topics

I’m very excited. The diary updates have been brilliant, very entertaining and informative. I don’t know why Neil doesn’t write more (not that Michael and Andy don’t do a sterling job) as he ‘gives good diary’. Although ‘Lost’ in Spanish is actually called ‘Perdidios’, cos it’s plural (God I’m such an annoying prick!).

I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for the studio report in Kerrang. Ixcillint!

Very good. It’s from the Infernal Love period judging by the frills.

Re: Weirdest place you’ve found something Therapy? in General Therapy? Topics

There’s a book out in Ireland called ‘Us’ which is basically a book of photos taken by the Irish public on the 1st of October. It’s a charity book I believe. Anyway, one of the pictures is of a guy holding up a Therapy? sign to the camara. Possibly a Womble? Jobrok? Alan??

‘Metal Compilation’ in General Therapy? Topics

Title: ‘Metal Compilation’

Don’t know if this has been mentioned, but T? have two songs, ‘Hey Satan, You Rock’ and ‘Stand In Line’ included on a 4 disc metal compilation, cunningly called ‘Metal Compilation’. Despite the shite name, whoever compiled it put together a pretty good collection.

Re: What do you think about the Rise Up video? in General Therapy? Topics

I like it. I don’t know why, but I wasn’t expecting much, but it looks really good. The quality of the download is pretty dam crisp too.

Re: Comments On The Band’s Diary in General Therapy? Topics

The band diaries, especially when they’re in rehearsal and recording, are one of the best things about this site. Most bands post fuck all on their sites, and even then it’s only when thay have something to sell. T? keep us informed as to the progress of the new tunes, and if Michael thinks “this whole writing/rehearsal diary might be a bit boring”, he couldn’t be more wrong. Keep it up!!!

Think I’ll get my girlfriend a domain name for her birthday this week. Nothing says ‘I love you’ quite like a domain name!!

Re: Polar Bear/ Rock you monkeys bside error in General Therapy? Topics

I’m quite against mp3 singles too. It’s all well and good if we have the option to buy a cd or download, but only making a single available as a download, well, it’s not very collectable is it. I just hope if T? release any new singles of their new album that are only available as a download, they don’t include any unreleased songs, as I’ll have no way of getting my hands on them and will be a little disgruntled.

Re: Therapy? replying to e-mails…? in General Therapy? Topics

I sent a mail about album availablilty a couple of years ago and Michael got back pretty quick. I think it probably depends on their workload. At the moment they’ve been rehearsing, so answering mails probably hasn’t been high on the ‘to do’ list. But basically, they do answer their mails, which is pretty damn cool in my eyes!!

Re: Power ballads in General Therapy? Topics

Power ballads, oh yeah!!!!

I wanna see Andy with a mullet, singing on top of a cliff. And I want excessive use of the word ‘baby’, and preferably how he’d die for his ‘baby’.
