White chocolate may well be evil. I never trusted The Milky Bar Kid. Like an albino Damien from The Omen.

BTW, welcome!

Re: Hello from earth’s end! in New Members (Introduce Yourself)

I’ve got an Argentinean friend who made a copy of some cds by A.N.I.M.A.L.. The Spanish version of ‘Cop Killer’ is good. He also leant me ‘Ataque 77’, but I didn’t like it so much.

Re: Hello, I’m the Doctor in New Members (Introduce Yourself)

Hi Doctor, I know you’re busy, but you really should post more. As for all the Dr.Who references, I don’t get them (don’t have BBC), so I can’t join in all the fun :(

Personally, Infernal Love is one of my faves, although if you’re not too fond of it, you’re in good company. Andy Cairns isn’t a big fan either.

Soundgarden pulled out of the Sunstroke bill that year too with T? being pushed up to second on the bill. Hope you enjoy the Pixies this year, they’ve still got it!

Re: Evenin’ All in New Members (Introduce Yourself)

1994 was a great year!!!! Saw Page Hamilton perform onstage with Therapy? that year, lots of great party’s that year as well. I also took a hell of a lot of acid that summer. It’s all coming back to me now (but not in a ‘flashback’ kinda way). But sure fuck it, 2005 will be a great year too.

Welcome to the board juffery!!!!

I can’t help you with the fake id I’m afraid. Maybe a fake beard???? Or if you can get a walking stick and pee your pants they’ll think you’re an old man.

I’m not much help am I.

Re: yo in New Members (Introduce Yourself)

When I was in Oz a few years back I started saying ‘sweet’ all the time, even though I knew I sounded like a complete eejit saying it.

Re: uhuh in New Members (Introduce Yourself)

Hi babydriver, welcome to the board. You just made a big mistake, you NEVER admit to liking Shameless, there’s a certain somebody on these boards that takes exception to that. I personally think it’s a great album too!

just saw this:

“Dinah Brand to release debut album
Dublin band Dinah Brand will release their debut album ‘Pale Monkey Blues’ in JJ Smyths, Aungier Street on Friday 28 February.

Dinah Brand are former Pet Lamb member Dylan Philips, David Lacey and John Hegarty.

‘Pale Monkey Blues’ was recorded by Decal’s Alan O’Boyle who has also worked with The Redneck Manifesto on ‘ThirtySixStrings’ and ‘Cut Your Heart Off From Your Head’.

The album will be available on the night and from Road Records, Fade Street, Dublin 2.”

Re: I never did say hello… in New Members (Introduce Yourself)

I’ve only got “sweaty handshake” and I love it!! they were never going to sell a million records, but they were a cracking band!!!!!

Re: I never did say hello… in New Members (Introduce Yourself)

Yep, Angel Dust and Dirt are two very fine albums indeed. They get a regular spinning on my stereo. Also Semi-detached is probably the T? album I’ve been listening to most of late. Unfortunately I’ve not heard High Anxiety as I can’t get here in Barcelona. It’s a bit strange as everything else has been available up until now.

I never did say hello… in New Members (Introduce Yourself)

Title: I never did say hello…

… so sorry about that.

A little about me. Been a fan of the band pretty much for as long as they’ve been around. Not bragging in a “I was a fan b4 they were signed” type of way, but it is true.

Fave bands include:

The Frames
The Afghan Whigs
Faith No More
Alice in Chains
Rollins Band
Girls V Boys
Pet Lamb
Sonic Youth
Pixies
Wilt
Kerbdog
Foo Fighters
Nirvana
Zwan
Smashing Pumpkins

You get the jist!
