Just to add nothing to the thread, I love my new NANE t-shirt. While I have no idea what the cover of the new album is supposed to be, it looks great on a t-shirt.

Finally got up. Thought I’d feel worse.

Gig was fantastic. Respect to the sound guy, the sound was crystal clear. Every song they played I thought “Cool, they’re playing this”. Neil is fuckin’ awesome drummer. The trio from “Babyteeth” was excellent, and it was great to hear “Sister” live. The new stuff rocked also, especially “This Ship is Sinking”.

Afterwards we went to “Eamon Dorans” to meet some mates who’d just seen Ian Brown. They were a bit pissed off to hear T? had played “Babyteeth” tunes. Snooze ya loose.

So we headed off to “Whelens” and had for a couple of beers and then in the “Village”. My mate who I dragged along spotted Mr.Cairns and Mr.Cooper. Now I bit drunk by this stage and didn’t want bug the lads, yet I couldn’t not tell them they Rock. I hope I reasonably coherent, either way, both were very friendly and if I was being annoying, they hid it well.

My other mate was hammered. He’s been a T? fan for many years too, so he was glad to see the boys in the Village. Only problem was, cos he was drunk, he had a 10 second memory, like the guy in “Memento”. So every few minutes he was like “Fuck me, Andy Cairns is here”, as though no one else had spotted him. Ahh the wonders of alcohol.

Well basically the night kicked ass. Can’t wait for the next time!

I’m sure it’s pointless trying to organise a WoMble meet, but if you see a guy with a real old ‘Pleasure Death’ t-shirt, short hair and little goatee, it might just be me, so say hello! Obviously saying ‘hey realityfuck’to the wrong person might be embarassing and possibly offensive, so try ‘Hey Jarlath’. Why Jarlath? Cos it’s my name of course!

It could be that MCD aren’t the promoters of the gig. As far as I can see the Ambassador don’t have their own webpage and MCD being promoters won’t list a different promoter’s show. This is just a guess. However, the show has been listed on entertainment.ie for a good few weeks now, and they’re usually very reliable.

Dublin for me. While I don’t physically have the tickets, I have been assured they have been purchased!

I live in Barcelona, but I always end up working with Argentinians. I learned ‘real’ Spanish from them, “¡no me rompas los huevos!” things like that, which you find in a school book. I’m originally from Dublin and going back for the T? gig especially.

Just checking cos in the mail it said that these dates were provisional and not to book any travel just yet. But now they’re up on the site is it safe to book flights???? ;)

Hope this is an indicator that a December tour is falling into place. If so, this young(ish) ex-pat could be heading back to Dublin (please play Dublin as you’re hardly going to be playing Barcelona) for some pre-christmas festivities with the worlds best band!!!

And they could play Barcelona!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe I’ll have to jet back to Dublin for the NANE tour though… don’t want to miss another T? tour.

which date Kerrang are they in? I live in Spain and Kerrang usually comes out a week or two later here and it’s cling wrapped so I can’t leaf through it to see if T? are in it.

I hear ya buddy!!! But I must admit with some of the other posters on here, we have it a lot better in Dublin gigwise than the rest of the country, so it’s hard to begrudge the Corkonians for getting the south of the border gig. It’d be great if T? even played the Temple Bar Music Centre seen as it’s not a tour that’s in support of an album. Ash are playing there in a couple of weeks and they’re aguably, at this stage, a bigger band than T?.

My main gripe is just that by the time T? release new material and play Dublin again I’ll probably have moved back to Spain (the reason I haven’t experienced the T? live experience in many a year), but hey, such is life. Maybe they’ll play Barcelona on the next tour and I can be their city guide :cool:
