I’ve been introducing a few friends to T? lately (they’ve since parted with cash and bought a few albums) and most of them think troublegum is okay, but not great. They prefer High Anxiety and Suicide Pact, which they love.

Just thought I’d learn to do it in the safety of the ‘Test the Message Boards’ board!;)

hope they tour the new album and play Dublin B4 the end of the year B4 I move back to Spain. Yep, I know I’m starting to sound like a broken record (not to mention a whiney fuck) but it’s all borne out off a love of all things THERAPY? !!

Great to hear there are new songs in the pipeline. Can’t wait to hear them

I’ve been thinking about it actually. I’m of to Barcelona next week, so I’ll have to see how the finances are, but it’s definitely an option.

Challenge???? More like a stroll in the park for the T? boys. I hope this isn’t a sign of things to come, T? becoming a support act, not after releasing the fantastic High Anxiety and Scopophobia. FFAF are mates with Zane Lowe of MTV2, so maybe he’ll see the gig and think, ‘right, that’s the shit we need for the couch, some REAL rock!’.

I can see the point of playing with The Wildhearts, they’re mates and they’ll be great gigs, BUT WHY NOT IN DUBLIN!!! I’M BACK AFTER 4 YEARS AND NOW THEY’RE AVOIDING PLAYING HERE. But like the Murphy’s, I’m not bitter.

I hope a T? gig is scheduled for Dublin. I’ve been living in Australia and Spain (two fairly T? free zones concert-wise) over the last 4 years and would hate that when I am finally in the same country that they’re playing in I can’t get to the gig. So I’ll say a few prayers to the big guy (Andy, not God).

Absolutely love The Afghan Whigs and The Twilight Singers. I saw them in Whelans on friday and they were absolutely fantastic.

I think I recall Andy saying in an interview some time ago that if he could have a voice like any other singer’s, it’d be Dulli’s. At least I think he said that, the old memory ain’t great these days.

Both bands are good mates, so it could have happened. The Wildhhearts opened for Alice in Chains in the S.F.X. many a year ago and were very good. Stuck around for a chat after too, which was nice.

I think Andy guests on their last album, but not too sure about that.

Saw The Twilight Singers last night, and they were fan-fucking-tastic. Greg Dulli has a monster of a voice, pure soul. Great stuff!

On the Nurse tour they had the mighty Kerbdog doing support duties when they played the S.F.X. in Dublin. And of course they’ve had great bands like Joyrider and Pet Lamb opening for them too!

Going to see them this Friday and I can’t wait. I saw the Whigs live a few years back and they bloody fantastic!

Really?? Wow, I can see how ‘Pleasure Death’ mightn’t be amongst people’s faves, recorded on a small budget, dark tunes and all that, but ‘Shameless’ is a great rock album. As I said my favourite T? album changes constantly mainly cos they’re all great and after over a decade of listening to T? they all still get a regular play on the stereo. But each to their own.

It’s an old lost classic from the Amsterdam sessions. They had to trim it back a bit for commercial release!

For those of you who don’t know who or what phantomfm is, it’s probably the best radio station in Ireland, playing the best in alternative, rock and non commercial music. Based in Dublin, they’re currently broadcasting on a temporary license while they awaiting a proper license to broadcast.
