Re: Wannabe Friends on Myspace/Facebook in Chit-Chat
Myspace - Great for hearing music and getting latest news from bands
Facebook - Great for the first week while you search out old friends, a load of old wank after that with loads of shite applications.
bebo - Wank

Agreed x 3
have you ever considered a career in marketing?
St.Anger is probably the most expensive beermat I’ve ever bought.

Re: Metallica in Other Bands & Artists
Yeah, but The Black Album with a faint grey snakey in the corner just rolls of the tongue :)
Agreed that Kill em All hasn’t aged too well and I could have easily have had it after the Load albums, which I actually quite like.

I love “… And Justice”. It is a shame the bass is non existent though, as it would have filled out the sound nicely.

Not a Sebastian Bach fan myself.

Nah, he’d have loved the attention too much.

John Bush, mmm, I like it!!!
Always thought what happened to him in Anthrax was a shame as I love the Bush-era albums.

I saw the guy from Hard-Fi in Barcelona airport, so the answer is no.

Vinnie Paul always did a fine production job!

^Don’t know the technical reason for it, but what loco says makes sense. Indivudually I love all the songs on OCFA , but listening to the album as a whole the songs seem to blur into one and my attention drifts.
It’s true that Troublegum is fantastic sounding record.

I like(d) them. Hope they continue in one form or another.
On the upside, STP are back together.

Re: new stuff (Clowns Galore) in General Therapy? Topics
April Fool’s or not, I don’t see any reason why T? shouldn’t produce their own album. They have so much experience at this stage that as long as they have a good engineer I’m confident they’d produce a fine album.

Re: Dr Pepper vs Guns n Roses…?! in Other Bands & Artists
I care in a sort of ‘gossip mag’ kind of way. I’m interested in the making of the album and how the fuck it’s not out yet and can cost so much, rather than the content. I’m sure if it is released that it will eventually end up in my record collection, much in the same way as a GnR and STP fan I have the bought the Velvet Revolver cds (which are good).

Re: Dr Pepper vs Guns n Roses…?! in Other Bands & Artists
Could this be a sign the damned thing may see the light of day?
Corporate sponsorship to recoup the costs and an immediate and positive response from AXl. Any way, if it comes out on the same day as the T? album I know which one I’ll be buying.

Re: new stuff (Clowns Galore) in General Therapy? Topics
Can’t believe how much I enjoyed that given it’s just a rough jam recorded on a single mic.
I’m excited, but that’s probably because my jeans are too tight!

Re: mp3 player advice in Chit-Chat
Seems to be a mixed reaction to the Creative Zen. At the moment I’ve got a 4gb Zen, but the headphone socket is playing up, have to keep adjusting the wire. At first I thought I needed new headphones, but no, it’s the device itself. Also, it’s out of warrenty, so can’t return it.
@ deadsetgav - looking at spending about €200, maybe more if I see something I think is worth it.
@ butters - I was always more an ‘aiwa’ man than a ‘sony’ man.
