I did much the same, listened to the two tracks I already knew. Very interesting. Love the fact the bass is high in the mix like on ‘Crooked Timber’ and I’m pretty sure I heard something of a vocoder in the chorus of BYWYAY, but that could just be the crappy audio quality of the previews…

That’s a great show - was wondering who’s singing backing vocals on some of the choruses though…

I really liked what Franz Nicolay added to the band on those two albums, the new one seems to be missing something without him. Love ‘Stay Positive’ though!

I think they’re… healthy. Crooked Timber did quite well it seems, and deservedly so, it’s great!

Well, I think that’s the trouble - if it wasn’t going to be October, it would be put back to next year, as the whole music industry shuts down for most of November and December while they promote the latest Christmas/X Factor shit, so any T? album to come out during that time wouldn’t get the attention it deserved. Also from mags, as they seem to spend the last couple of months doing end-of-year polls etc.

I broke a toilet seat and partially fell into the toilet bowl at Lisbon airport. Not one of my proudest moments, particularly as it was before an 11-hour flight…

I have had a goatee in the past, but it kind of makes me look like a gay biker, so I don’t anymore. My skin always flares up with shaving though, so I tend to rock the stubble look most of the time.

Cheers guys, happy birthday to those who share my day of birth. It turns out when you move to a place where most of your mates are 8 or 9 hours behind you, your birthday goes on a lot longer!

Was also at that Kyuss gig - Divers is right, the new guitarist absolutely nailed it. Not impressed at the queue for the bar though!
