Re: Exclusive Therapy? webgig now available in General Therapy? Topics
I was thinking of trying to get Therapy? to play at my wedding this April as Diane (red furry edition) was the first single I bought my g/friend not long after we met.
I thought I might not be able to afford their rider though!

Re: Exclusive Therapy? webgig now available in General Therapy? Topics
I would also like to give a big thanks to Rene for sorting out the problems so quickly.
I found after paying that I had not received the email as my shitty domain registering company have buggered up the email forwarding. An email to Rene and all my worries about having to pay again are gone with a very nice response.
From what I’ve heard so far sounds great, although I might try downloading A moment of clarity again as the vocals seem to break up a bit.
Here’s hoping for this to be a regular thing, although I’m still looking forward to seeing them live again (any chance of a gig in Derby lads, you’re here often enough)

Re: RHC lyrics in General Therapy? Topics
So putting it all together I think we’ve got:
despite everything I know
i still seek trouble every day
despite everything Ive learnt
i still seek trouble every day
ive sold my soul and now I miss it
it’s on my armageddon checklist
ive sold my soul and now I miss it
it’s on my exit checklist
All my hard work and hope
{hard work and hope}
(x2)
All my hard work and hope
Counts for nothing
Seems to fit anyway!

RHC lyrics in General Therapy? Topics
Title: RHC lyrics
Been filling in the clip info on these new fangled mp3 things. RHC lyrics are on the site, so that was easy. Crazy cocaine eyes is straightforward:
cocaine eyes
crazy cocaine eyes
(x4)
(instrumental)
cocaine eyes
crazy cocaine eyes
(x4)
(instrumental)
cocaine eyes
crazy cocaine eyes
(x4)
And I think I’ve got Play On from modifying the diary entry:
wont you play on
wont you play on forever
wont you play on
wont you play on for me
(x2)
true flaming star
you were more than blessed
burning brighter than all the rest
wont you play on
wont you play on forever
wont you play on
wont you play on for me
(x2)
no guiding hand
to help you cross
the more you had
the more you lost
wont you play on
wont you play on forever
wont you play on
wont you play on for me
(x2)
wont you play on
wont you play on forever
wont you play on
wont you play on for me
(x2)
But I’m stuck with Hard Work and Hope, so far I’ve got:
despite everything I know
i still seek trouble every day
despite everything Ive learnt
i still seek trouble every day
ive sold my soul and now Im ???????
it’s ?? my ????
ive sold my soul and now Im ???????
????????
despite everything I know
i still seek trouble every day
despite everything Ive learnt
i still seek trouble every day
ive sold my soul and now Im ???????
it’s ?? my ????
ive sold my soul and now Im ???????
????????
All my hard work and hope
(hard work and hope)
(x2)
All my hard work and hope
???????
despite everything I know
i still seek trouble every day
despite everything Ive learnt
i still seek trouble every day
ive sold my soul and now Im ???????
it’s ?? my ????
ive sold my soul and now Im ???????
????????
All my hard work and hope
(hard work and hope)
(x2)
All my hard work and hope
???????
All my hard work and hope
(hard work and hope)
(x2)
All my hard work and hope
???????
Any ideas?
James.

Have a Metal Christmas in Chit-Chat
Title: Have a Metal Christmas
Inspired by Never mind the Buzzcocks tonight with their next lyrics in a metal stylee, I’m dreaming of a Christmas compilation CD of metal bands doing well known Christmas tunes.
My first nomination is for Strapping Young Lad with Jingle Bells
What’s yours?

Re: what was the last gig you went to? in Chit-Chat
Saw them last night in Wolverhampton, mainly went to see SYL, I agree the vocals were a bit shit, I was a row back front the barrier and still didn’t hear half of Devon’s crazy ramblings.
I was impressed by Arch Enemy, that girl has got a hell of a pair of lungs on her. Drum solo was good, but some of the guitar twiddling got tedious.
The Wulfrun also seems to have relaxed it policy on crowd surfing, couple of years ago it was plastered with signs saying they would chuck you out. Last night it was like Waikiki beach.

Nah, it’s harmless. But playing it for a while does make your wrist ache if you use the keyboard control.

Re: What’s EveryOne Listening To in Other Bands & Artists
Well I’ve just answered my own question  as I can’t see Yo-yo’s in Wolves, so I’ll see them in Manchester - which is the same day as SYL are in Manchester, so SYL will have to be in Wolves (confused? I am!)

Re: What’s EveryOne Listening To in Other Bands & Artists
That’s OK. Currently listening to Strapping Young Lad - City, after finding out they have released a new album and are touring in December supporting Arch Enemy (just spent the afternoon searching the net for some of the more obscure bands in my collection). Mmmm, do I see them in Manchester or Wolves?

Re: For Sale: Michael McKeegans guitar - a piece of rock history! in Therapy? Buy, Sell & Trade
Might go this time as he’s knocked £150 off the starting bid.
I would be tempted myself except I can’t play right-handed.

Re: Feeder… in Other Bands & Artists
When I first saw them at Sound City in Leeds supporting the Wildhearts, something clicked and I went and preordered Swim. I then proceeded to go to many gigs and was really hooked on the music, also loved the use of the cine projector. Even got a massive poster signed by all three and a Jon Lee signed drumstick.
But it just seemed that Grant had a desire to be popular, which isn’t a bad thing, but they drifted away from that sound that first caught me (and Taka cut his horns off!).
They did put on a good show at Download though, but I’ve lost that need to buy all the singles and get the album as soon as it comes out.

Queenadreena at rock city last weekend. Katie Jane got pulled/fell and damaged her ankle but carried on singing, respect to her. I was on my own but enjoyed the club night afterwards, although i was chatting up the wrong side of a mother/daughter patnership.

Not yet, but I’ve just listened to Swim again and realised why I was such a fan, if only Grant would stop trying to be popular!

Re: Should Therapy? play Scarborough.. The poll! in Therapy? Live
Yeah great gig, but very cold at times.
It was a bit surreal to start with, it looked a bit like a country fete, but once you got close to the stages it warmed up a bit and the music make it all better.
It’s very sad if that is the last we will see of the Wildhearts, but what a way to go out!
I wonder who will headline the next ones?

Re: Should Therapy? play Scarborough.. The poll! in Therapy? Live
So who’s going then?
Weather forecast looks good thankfully, I’m taking a car full of friends up so hopefully it will be a cracking day. If Terrorvision are anything like they were at Rock City it will be an amazing set, and I hope the Wildhearts lads put there all in it for this gig.
Just a shame T? aren’t there as well (or 3CR or the Yo-yos - but that would have been so good I’d have wet myself just thinking about it)
