Re: Dog Soldiers in Chit-Chat
Saw it months ago and my only problem with it that I did’nt see it in a theater( went straight to video here in the U.S).
And, unfortunately, Chump Change is right, ‘cuase the last good were-wolf movie us Yanks made was THE HOWLING.

Re: 28 Days Later in Chit-Chat
This movie kicked total ass! It was everything the RESIDENT EVIL movie should have been: consistently scary, relentless, aggressive, creepy( the empty London scenes), and just a DAMN good time at the movies.

Re: Playstation 2 in Chit-Chat
Title: SILENT HILL
For me, the first one is better, but the second one still kicks ass. You could buy either one first as, story-wise, the only thing they have in common is the location of Silent Hill. Part 3 still has’nt come out here in the State’s. Sometime last year, I read on a few movie web-sites that there was talk of a movie, but about a month later it was revealed that it was all some kind of hoax. But a few months back, I started seeing MORE talk of a movie. If it does happen, I hope they don’t make a half-assed version of the original game’s story, a-la RESIDENT EVIL, which I kinda liked at first, but I liked less the next two times I watched. Now, I just don’t bother. 28 DAYS LATER was pretty much everything that movie should have been.

I was going to tell you about what I saw on THE CROW the other day, and I did, only I put in the thread about the T? sticker in the urinal, thinking it was this thread! Go on over to that thread and check it out. And to hoochalobster & Teethgrinder: any way of putting my reply in the right thread?
Sorry.

Re: Weirdest place you’ve found something Therapy? in General Therapy? Topics
On Friday, July 4th, I put THE CROW on my PS2 and watched it for the 100th time (I exagerate, but still, it feels like it). During the scene when Ernie Hudson first confronts Brandon Lee after Guidion’s Pawn shop goes up in flames, I noticed something. In the first shot of Hudson approaching Lee with his gun out, my eye’s were somehow diverted to the wall behind him. There, in all it’s glory was a NURSE poster. I even re-wound and puased it to make sure (it’s kinda dark), and sure as shit, there it was. I don’t know how I never saw it before. Anyone else notice it?
P.S.: sorry if this is old news, but I’m kinda new here and, like I said, I can’t believe I never noticed it, as much times as I’ve seen the movie.

What, exactly, is a Sweeney? Does this have something to do with Sweeney Todd?
And yes, this is a pretty good song.

Re: vox on UNREQUITED in General Therapy? Topics
Actually, MIKEHELL, I’m talking about the main vocals, the “DONT…WAKE…ME” stuff. But thanks, I did’nt know Sheldon was doing the back-up stuff at the end of that song. Did he do any other vox anywhere else?

vox on UNREQUITED in General Therapy? Topics
Title: vox on UNREQUITED
I’m wondering if anybody here knows who exactly does lead vox on this song, ‘cause it sounds a hell of alot like Page Hamilton of HELMET. I know he did the solo on UNBELIEVER and is credited as such, but it sounds alot his barking-style of singing from STRAP IT ON, BORN ANNOYING, and some of thier other albums. I know Fyfe did some vocals on some songs, but it just doesnt sound like him or Andy. Any-body know for sure?
Thanks.

The last T? album I saw at Bestbuy was the TEN YEAR PLAN reto. I have seen HIGH ANXIETY at Border’s Bookstore, although it’s a bit pricey at $17.99

Title: new single
You know, it could be the SHAMELESS single that SUB-POP was going to release. Maybe it’s finally gonna see the light of day. ABOUT DAMN TIME (assuming I’m right, which i’m probably not, so nevermind).

Title: advertisements I HAVE seen
I was pleasently surprised that both REVOLVER and ALTERNATIVE PRESS magazines had ads for HIGH ANXIETY, especially REVOLVER. I just did’nt think I’d see them anywhere in the states. And my favorite indie chain here in Arizona did have little red fliers for it at the counter.I was pretty damn happy about that.

hello, fellow THERAPIANS?! in New Members (Introduce Yourself)
Title: hello, fellow THERAPIANS?!
I joined back in May, but have only recently been able to introduce myself. I have been a fan of Therapy? since Summer’99, but the first time I heard them was when I saw the Nowhere video in ‘94. My next brush with them was on the Nativity in Black comp. In ‘99 I found the Nowhere single and decided to give the album Troublegum a shot. Long story short, I’m damn happy I did. As for the new album, it’s more of the same, but by that, Imean more Therapy?, and that’s never going to be a bad thing. I’m very happy to have joined this community of Therapy? fans and am looking forward to shooting the breeze with all of you on this, one of the most underrated bands in the world.
STAY HAPPY!

hello, my name is nathan, and Im new here. I’ve been a Therapy? fan since’98, but the first time I heard of them was theNowhere video on MTV. I thought it was O.K., but didnt buy the album(yet). The next time we crossed paths was thier cover of Iron Man with Ozzy on Nativity in Black. I very much liked thier version, but still prefer Iommi’s solo to Cairns. Skip ahead to ‘98, when I found the Nowhere single. I remembered it and said what the hell, lets give them a shot. After listening to the rest of Troublegum, I soon snatched up the rest of the albums ( except Semi-detatced, which I got last week in the mail, as it was never released in the states). Now they are one of my favorite bands. Better late then never, I suppose. thanx.
