Re: Glasgow fuckin’ gig. in Therapy? Live
I think T? were good, but missed the second guitar.
I agree Wildhearts were very dull and sounded really poppy and comercial. Fuck em.

Re: times in Therapy? Live
the set was about 45 min or. Not sure what time we walked in but it was right on the first song. Maybe 1930 or so.

Re: Glasgow fuckin’ gig. in Therapy? Live
Title: Glasgow gig.
First we completely missed Glitterati because of the early start and got in for Teethgrinder. The crowd was really not into it and getting some movement going was near impossible. I also thought they sounded a little empty with only one guitar. Neil’s drumming was superb though, like Fyfe only with more bass.
The new songs sounded ok and were quite rocky so that was good.
I also thought the Wildhearts were shite. We were bored senseless after 3 songs and spent the rest of the evening at the bar chatting.
Overall I was not very impressed and I don’t think I’ll travel this far for a T? gig again. Especially if playing as the support band. :(

That’s rediculous for such an crusty old bunch of has-beens. (Still wouldn’t mind seeing ACDC before they call it quits :p)

Not at all, I lived in Oxford for a few years and Germany for many more so my accent is quite fucked up. Bit of Glasge in it though.

Pardon me dear sir? I only partake in the finest of Chianti or when I’m feeling a little adventurous maybe a glass of 25 year old port. That devils drink has never past by my repentent lips.

I’ll try, but I don’t know how much I’ll remember.
I think I shall partake in what the locals call “Lager” while I’m in Glasgow. :D

Glasgow fuckin’ gig. in Therapy? Live
Title: Glasgow fuckin’ gig.
Thought I’d get the ball rolling on this one again.
I’ve got my tickets sitting in Glasgow, my plane tickets booked and my T-shirt ironed (ok scratch the last one).
See you Motherfuckers in the pit! :D

Re: Therapy? asking outrageous prices? in Therapy? Live
I can’t see them charging that much. Ticket prices have always been 2-3 quid cheaper than most gigs I go to. I would gladly pay 15 quid a Ticket but don’t have to so I can’t see that they require a silly amount of fees to play a gig.

Glasgow crowds used to always go manic for T? but over the last couple of years they’ve calmed down a lot…dunno why??? old age maybe
Years of alcohol abuse have taken their toll. Any more T? gigs and my frail and dying heart will stop dying. Oh shit their back in April.
Goodbye cruel world!

uhhmm. I haven’t got it yet. I’m getting my buddies in Glasgow to organise them. I hope they sort it out or else there might be trouble ahead.

Re: Tour in April in Therapy? Live
I’ve got plenty of buddies there and my parents stay in Glasgow too so that’s not a problem.
Just have to worry about making my flight back.

Sweet. Don’t need a woman to do what you want dammit.
This will be the 9th time I see them I think…, it’s starting to get hard to count :D.
I could probably do a lot more sensible stuff with the 100 euros but fuck it, I’ll treat myself to some fun.

I got flights for the Saturday and coming back Sunday so I can have a ripper of a night in Glasgow. Isn’t 100 Euro worth that?

Re: Tour in April in Therapy? Live
yeah, but a easyjet flight is only a few quid. And the buggers aren’t playing the ‘Dam so harsh times call for rough actions.

I’d say. mother666 might be able to tell you otherwise, but he’s a Weegie and will undoubtedly say the Glasgow Garage is better :)
It has changed a lot in the years. Now has a bigger balcony and isn’t just a danceclub that also does gigs.
It’s got the feel of a cool venue now. As for the weegie shit: why don’t you come to the garage and we’ll see about that:D

As I posted before I thought the last show in the Garage lacked something and was very disappointing.
Since they’ve re-done the garage it seems like a lot cooler venue as well. You can actually forget that 15 minutes after a gig the place turns into a scumbag meat-market.
Like the balcony and stripped walls. Much smarter.
oh yeah and it was a fucking good gig. One of the best in my 8.
