Re: Reading fanZ in Chit-Chat

Just finnished reading The Bonesetters Daughter by Amy tan.
My ex girlfriend reccomended it, apperently shes huge in Korea (as in popularity, not height!)

Then went onto the Filth by Motey Crue, amazing book! Stranger than fiction!

Started reading Chopper by the man himself Mark “Chopper” Read.

Oh and the Observer food monthly section of the paper!

Thought this was worth a chuckle!

(Before changing the message boards’ software in August 2007 this post had a file attachment, which may return in the future)

Does anyone else like the video for “There, There”?

Saw it on MTV2 the other day, great vid but the little men are a little kooky!
It reminds me of the Jabberwokky animation.

I think the vid adds to the song too.

After radiohead was The Electric 6 and gay bar.
Im not gay, but that song makes me wanna go to a gay bar, gay bar, GAY BAR!!

Now thats a public service!

Re: Next single? in General Therapy? Topics

Im gunning for who knows,

catchy, and could make it on the wireless.

Whats do you guys reckon about the B sides if there is another single? Will they be live tracks or “prevously unreliced” jazz?

And if the sleve cover turned out into a poster then that would be truly amazing! I still have the nurse cover on my wall. Super Amazing!!

Re: Finally… in New Members (Introduce Yourself)

How do the_screamger, or should i say ca va?

I read in the paper here in blighty that a few english speaking bands have re reliced songs but translated into french. I think Ash did this and Tim Wheeler had a really good accent!
Is this commonplace?

Re: Rock music in adverts in Chit-Chat

Its alright in my book to submit a tune for an ad, but what really blows my goat is when the song is edited. Like to get to the chorus faster before the end of the ad and all the jazz.
Its just not cricket…

Whilst on the subject of ripping off riffs, check out an album by dearly departed Nottingham nutters Lawnmower Deth called “Ooh Crikey..it’s Lawmower Deth”. There’s a track on there called Sheepdip, you wanna know where the riff for Smells Like Teen Spirit came from? Well here it is…

The riff to teen spirit is exactly the same to the hair rock 1979 classic Scinse youve been gone by Rainbow.

But “ooh cricky…its lawnmover deth” is an amazing album tital!

So good it should have been mine for the amazing prog rock band “Zane and the Lowes”, formally “Uni Versial”

Hi there Neville

So what do you think of the new album?

I instantly liked it. It was the same with TYroublegum, i liked it on the first play, then it got better with each spin.
Great hooks and Andys voice is just as menacing yet emphatic. I think its the best lp they’ve done scince Infernal Love.

My fave tracks are Who Knows and Nobody here but us.
What do you guys think of the new offering?
I was going to see them play in Brum this very evening but unfortuantly ive got a poo load of essays to write this week, which is nice!
Anyone off to see them play this leg of their tour?
I saw them in ‘98 in sunny Reading, and they, indeed, kicked out the jams on a whole new level!

Anyway that enough waffle from me!

Keep on rocking in the free world…

Mr.Ewings band in Other Bands & Artists

Title: Mr.Ewings band

How do all,

I heard that Fyfe Ewing has a new or recent band who have been acting as support acts for a few bands here and there.

I would be most greatful if anyone could tell me what the band name and any albums are.

Cheers
